ParticipantHi there,
Great plugin. Just bought Pro for the week view and wondering if there’s a way to change a few things:
1) Instead of times on the left, divide day into Morning, Afternoon & Evening (see attached picture);
2) Disable user clicking on events
3) Have the calendar load on a specific week, instead of current week ( I used the code shown here, and changed 2015-10-01 to 2017-07-09 but nothing changed: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/set-calendar-to-show-specific-month/)Appreciate the help.
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Charlene,
Thanks for reaching out!
Replacing the times on the left would require some customizations that are outside the scope of these forums, but we do have a themer’s guide with some great info on customizing our plugins if you’d like to give it a shot!
You can remove the links from events by editing the templates (see the themer’s guide for instructions on how to do this). Look for this in the template (be sure to also remove the closing tag – ““):
Shortcodes will let you set a specific week that you want to show events for. No coding required!
I hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any more questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

ParticipantHi Jennifer,
Thanks a lot for getting in touch, and for your assistance.
I just tried the shortcode for a specific week. I added [tribe_events view=”week” date=”2017-07-09″] to a page, but the calendar brings up the week of July 1st and shows the title week of June 25th. I’ve attached a picture to show.
Any ideas what’s causing this? I’m guessing this isn’t meant to happen when that shortcode is added.
Thanks again,

KeymasterHi Charlene,
Thanks for sending the screenshots! Those are very helpful.
Regarding the issue with the shortcode, this is strange – definitely not the intended behavior! Could you please share your system information with me so that I can look into this a bit further?
The overlapping looks like it might be due to some styling conflicts with your theme. You can go into Events > Settings > Display and change the options you have under Default stylesheet used for events templates and Events template, which might help fix this. If you could send me a link to this page (and the link to the page with the shortcode if possible), I would be happy to take a look and see if I can find the issue.
A good next step is to test for conflicts. This is also a good troubleshooting step for the shortcode issue.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jennifer
