    Hi,

We have a client who is looking for an online ticketing solution and requires the following features. I have looked through your docs and features and seems most of this is covered off. Are you able to clarify for each of the points below if they would work with your service?

    • The ability to purchase one or more ticket (and potentially have a cap of tickets per user)
    • The ability to specify dietary requirements
    • Bus Pick Up – Different pricing options for bus with ticket vs non bus. Customer also needs to communicate their bus pick up point in the purchase.
    • Select event location – Have different locations and dates for tickets – can this be done from one event or would multiple events need to be setup due to different venue?
    • Ticket bookings for different groups who want to sit together – would there be a way for them to communicate this within their ticket purchase? Or is there a setting for seating choice?
    • Ability to control ticket numbers, so for example, to ensure that we have 100 tickets for sale but only 54 of those are bus tickets.
The ability to adjust price (early bird, general sale etc)
    • Different ticket pricing for customers with a WooCommerce Membership?
    • The ability for coupon codes to be applicable to ticket purchases is also important

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Brent,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

With Event Tickets Plus, users can purchase one or more tickets at the same time, but limiting the number of tickets available per user would currently require a customization.

To allow users to specify dietary requirements, you could use the custom fields that come with Event Tickets Plus.

For bus pick-up, I think your best bet would be to create two separate tickets, one including the bus and one without it. You could then add custom fields to the bus ticket for users to specify their pick-up point, and this way you can charge separate prices for each ticket.

Currently, each event can only have one venue. So, you could either create multiple tickets on the same event for the different venues, or you could create different events for the different venues.

There are not currently any built-in options specifically for seating, but you could create custom fields to allow users to indicate the table they would like to sit at. This article has some more details on how you could set up a basic “seating chart” with Event Tickets Plus.

You can definitely control the quantity available for each ticket! This article explains how ticket capacity works. For your example, you could set a capacity of 100 tickets and then also set a limit of 54 for your bus ticket. This way each bus ticket purchase would count against the 100 limit, but no more than 54 bus tickets could be purchased.

There is not currently a built-in setting to adjust the pricing automatically, such as for early bird pricing…you would need to adjust it manually. If you use WooCommerce as your ecommerce platform, you could also try a third-party plugin to increase the price, as tickets are essentially WooCommerce simple products.

Member pricing is not a built-in feature, but this is another instance where you may be able to use a third-party plugin to accomplish what you’re looking for. I’d recommend taking a look at this one, but there are others out there as well!

With WooCommerce, coupons can be applied to tickets as well. You would set them up the same way that you would for other products. Coupons could also be used as a solution to creating “early-bird” pricing!

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to test out any of our premium extensions, please feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
