    Hello,
In community events, when I click the Choose Image button, nothing happens.

add:1503 Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token <
add:1629 Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token <

Here is the console reported link for add:1503 — http://local.ameriflux.com/events/community/add

The error is there also on my local site where I have the latest version loaded.

My users can go to the dashboard editor and add a photo, but they are supposed to be able to do this on the front of the site.

This is WordPress 4.9.5 with Community Events 4.5.9 and Events Pro 4.4.24.2 on production

WordPress 4.9.5 with Community Events, 4.5.11 and Events Pro 4.4.25 on development, same error.

Our site was built on a theme named brew.

    Hi There!

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Just wanted to let you know that we are dealing with a high volume of threads at the moment and it may take us more than usual to get back to you.

In the meantime, if you are dealing with an issue, please make sure you have gone through our Testing for Conflicts Guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/ and let us know if any difference under default conditions.

Also please provide as much information about the issue as possible and share links and screenshots so we can have as reference.

Finally, don’t forget to share your complete system information by following the steps in this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

One of our team members will get back to you. We appreciate your patience while we slowly get back to normal response times.

    Best,
    Victor

    Hi Tim!

    Thanks for your patience here.

The error you are having seems like a conflict with your theme, another plugin or even some custom code. To make sure we are not dealing with a conflict, please go through the steps outlined in our Testing for Conflicts guide and see if you can reproduce the same issue under default conditions.

Please let me know about that.

    Thanks,
    Victor

It was a conflict with a plugin called toggle wpautop.

    Hi Tim!

Glad to know you could spot the conflict.

My guess is you were minifying our scripts and styles with it. You don’t need to minify them as they are already minified. Let me point you to the following article for reference > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/problems-with-minification/

Is there anything else I can help you with? Let me know.

    Best,
    Victor

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
    The Events Calendar Support Team
