ParticipantI am the admin for the website victoriamomsblog.com. I have the pro-calendar and the community events add-on so anyone can submit their events to my community events calendar. I currently have a submitted event “pending review”. When I open this event in my wordpress dashboard I am unable to publish it. Where there should be a “Publish” button in the event, there is only a “submit for review” button. I was able to successfully publish events up until a few days ago without issue, nit sure why I cannot all of a sudden. I double checked to ensure my status is set to Admin for the website, I made sure all plugins on the website are updated, I logged out and back in again and still not working. I went in the change the settings so that submitted events do not need to be reviews and approved by an admin for the time being until this issue is fixed, but even with that all submitted posts still go to “pending review” and I cannot approve them.

I attempted to reproduce the issue you’re having, but I’m not experiencing the same behavior. Can you please confirm you reviewed our Testing for conflicts guide? We need to eliminate the possibility of a theme and/or plugin conflict before proceeding.

ParticipantHi Hunter, thanks for your reply. I followed the steps to test for conflicts and unfortunately, even with all plug-ins disabled (except for the calendar and pro/community add-ons) and switching my theme to the twentysixteen theme, I still had the issue. So that would tell me that it is not a theme or plugin conflict. The calendar worked up until about a week and a half ago so I am not sure why it suddenly stopped working.

Thank you for reviewing the Testing for conflicts guide. I checked our logged bug reports for anything resembling the issue you’re having, but there aren’t any at this time.
The next step here would be to set up a test environment with the default WP theme and only our plugins installed and activated to see if you can reproduce the issue. Should it come to it, we have a list of customizers that can help further troubleshoot. Please keep me updated and take care.
