Cannot edit RSVP with Event Tickets Plus enabled

    This seems to be an issue several people have posted about. Some said it was the theme, some said they removed new edits to their functions.php and others claimed to have figured it out but didn’t bother to post how or reply back to someone else request to explain.

    I have a new theme with all new versions installed using WooCommerce. When I use Event Tickets, I can create a ticket to RSVP and click on that link to re-edit it once its been created, but as soon as I enable Event Tickets Plus, I can no longer edit that RSVP entry. I can click on the link and another happens. I can still create a WooCommerce ticket and that will open to edit just fine.

    I have switched to 2016 WP theme and disabled every single plugin not needed to test this issue and it still continues to do so. What else can we troubleshoot to figure this out?

    Hi and welcome back 🙂

    Thank you for being so thorough in your initial post! I did some quick testing and it looks like the conflict is actually between WooCommerce and Event Tickets. I was able to reproduce the issue you described with Event Tickets and WooCommerce activated. I tested again, this time with Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus activated (WooCommerce deactivated) and I was able to update the ticket stock as expected.

    With that said, we definitely have identified a bug which I’ve gone ahead and logged. I’ve linked this thread to the bug ticket for the developers to reference. I don’t have a solution for you at this time, but I’ll bring it up first thing in the morning when the rest of the team returns to work and be sure to reply back with any information/solutions we come up with. Rest assured the issue will be resolved in an upcoming maintenance release.

    Welcome back,

    I brought the issue to the attention of my fellow support team members, but we’re going to have to pass it along to the developers seeing none of us could come up with a working solution. I don’t have an exact date/time we’ll have the fix included in an upcoming maintenance release.

    I’m a little confused on your last reply, so if possible, please provide more information so I can help better understand. Thank you 🙂

    week? month? year? Im supposed to have this site live in a week or two, I worry that without the RSVP option working, I may not have this completed in a timely manner.

    Disregard the last post, it was meant for another support ticket on a different tab in my browser. I couldnt figure out how to delete it so I just re-editied it to remove the original text.

    I unfortunately don’t have a solid timeframe for you :-/

    We recognize the seriousness of the problem and will prioritize accordingly. If you’re unable to resolve the bug yourself, we’ve got a list of customizers that can help out. If worst comes to worst, we offer Refunds within a 30-day period from the date of your purchase.

    What can I do to speed up this process? Can you point me in the direction of someone that can at least patch it for me for a fee? Im not the first to post this issue, or even the 2nd

    Welcome back,

    Unfortunately there isn’t much we can do to expedite the process. There aren’t a huge number of users being affected by this plugin, so it doesn’t necessarily require a “hotfix” – but a remedy will be included in an upcoming maintenance release (I imagine the next one).

    You might want to post a thread on the Event Tickets .org support forums to see if any others users have ran into the same problem and come up with a working solution. Other than that, I’m not really sure of a “free” way to get this working.

    I apologize I don’t have a better answer for you at this time, but I can assure you if we dropped what we’re doing to fix every little issue as they arose, our plugins wouldn’t be half as cool as they are! There is a method to our madness!
