    Hello,

We can post new events as a site “Administrator” role, but with anything below that such as Editor, Author and so forth we are getting thr following error.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 4096 bytes) in /home/.sites/28/site1/web/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/inc/class-wpseo-replace-vars.php on line 108

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 32768 bytes) in /home/.sites/28/site1/web/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/inc/sitemaps/class-sitemaps-cache-validator.php on line 1

What should I do to correct this?

We need editors and author roles to be able to post.

    Thank you

Hi, Brenda. Sorry you’re experiencing this. I wasn’t able to replicate this issue on my local testing site.

There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?

Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.

If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to TwentySixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any PHP errors you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.

Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts mode).

You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)

Let us know what you find out.

    Thanks.

Here is the error I’m getting. I cannot even log into the admin.

It will allow an “administrator” to log in and do what needs to be done, but anything less that an admin (editor, author… ) we get the above error.

Please let me know what I can do about this?

    Thank you!

    OK found the culprit!!!

    Slider Revolution
Slider Revolution – Premium responsive slider
    Version 5.2.6 | By ThemePunch

When this one is deactivated, but everything else active ( Newspaper theme, AdRotate Professional, Contact Form 7, Weather Underground, Yoast SEO) all is good.

We can live without Slider Revolution, so it’s gone for now, but if you should come upon a fix please let me know.

Interesting. I’m glad you found it, but we’ve heard of many using Slider Revolution successfully. Please make sure you’re using its latest version if you do try it out again. You could also contact their support if you continue to have issues.

    Thank you!

Yes everything is the latest version available, so it may just be an unfortunate bad combination of theme and plug ins… I’m just glad we found it. Slider would be a nice addition, but it’s not at all mission critical like the Calendar is.

    Thanks!
