ParticipantHi, My calendar won’t advance into 2018. There’s no button at the bottom marked January and the corresponding months don’t seem to exist. Can you please help?

MemberHi, Wayne. Sorry for any confusion here, but this is how it should work for a month in which there are no more future events.
If you add a new event in February 2018, you should be able to go month-to-month from November through February (even if you don’t have any events in December and/or January)… but won’t see a button to advance to March 2018, since there aren’t any events beyond February 2018.
Please let me know if this answers your question.
Thank you.

MemberActually, I checked your site and it looks like you figured this out already through trial and error, since your calendar now advances through to January, where you have a Test Event on January 25 as the only event in this month.
🙂

ParticipantHm…well actually we posted the test event first and only asked because it was not showing. Glad to see it is now, perhaps it is caching related. I appreciate your help Cliff, but please keep the topic open in case we experience any more problems soon.

MemberGotcha. You can uncheck “Enable the Month View Cache” at wp-admin > Events > Settings > Display tab
Please note that threads get Closed automatically after a couple weeks of inactivity. If it does get Closed, please open a new thread, adding your current problem description and also linking back to this thread.
Thank you!

ParticipantHi Cliff, we’re still having some trouble, though I’m not sure this is the same problem. This event:
https://www.swingsocalleft.org/event/monthly-canvassing-santa-clarita-ca-25/2017-12-10/
Is set to recur every month until 10/14/18. As you can see, the calendar is listing it as a recurring event, but not showing any events after the first one. I’m posting a screenshot of what this event looks like on the backend. Can you please help?

MemberHi, Wayne. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
This isn’t currently a known issue so I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups before modifying anything on your site.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG (which will create a file on your server at /wp-content/debug.log if there are any WP_DEBUG messages) and share any debug messages you see while trying to replicate this issue and doing other things on your site relevant to this ticket (such as visiting your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and anything else you can think to do).
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode) in a Private Reply. That will give me a lot of extra information to help troubleshoot this.
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
