ParticipantI have NEVER had a problem with the Calendar. It has always worked smoothly for me and our community calendar has been loaded with thousands of events with no problems EVER. All of a sudden I noticed (AT THE END OF APRIL) that when i clicked the (MAY EVENTS) Buttons it would just sit there and load with the little spinning wheel and do nothing. I thought nothing of it and guessed that the error would fix itself with the arrival of May. I was wrong. Now the calendar is NOT showing up AT ALL for May. Why is it doing this and how can I fix it ASAP? When you “search” events the Calendar Pops Up like nothing ever happened.

ParticipantI think it’s a conflict with my new theme. How do I fix this?

MemberGood evening Brian and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the month of May not showing up!
I would love to help you with this topic. As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Secondly, you mentioned that you believe this could be a theme conflict. Have you gone through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) ?
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

ParticipantThis is the error message I am getting now. I had the Memory Increased and I am still getting this message: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 51 bytes) in /home/content/90/9429190/html/DTLA/wp-includes/meta.php on line 835

MemberGood evening Brian,
Thank you for doing the tests and for sharing your system information.
Hang in there as we try to figure out what is causing the issues!
If you get a chance, I would still like to know if the issues go away when going through the testing for conflicts procedure or at least if you revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-fifteen ?
Aside from that, the 2 other things that might not be helping are:
- Your PHP version (officially WordPress recommends using at least PHP 5.6, but I find PHP 5.4 and up usually works great)
- I am unsure of how strict your Bulletproof Security settings are, but that might be worth checking into
Let me know what you find out,
Best regards,
Geoff B.
