Tried desperately to see how i can add this

    using this shortcode

    [tribe_events tribe-bar=”false” category=”scrum-master” view=”list”]

i get a list – but nothing like the examples on your site – no buy now button

we are using avada – i am guessing there must be some template to edit – but even renaming all avada template folder (so i would hope to use default ones) doesnt help

also is there a setting to not have the number of tickets left?

    Hi Matt,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

In the meantime, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
    This is usually because of:

    1.    A conflict with another plugin

    2.    A conflict with your WordPress theme

    3.    A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating

When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.

A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.

Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:

    1.    Make a backup of your database

    2.    Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Jaime
Thanks for your mail, I appreciate you like the stuff below but my question was generic and doesn’t require any of the below
I found the necessary code in the template and hid the offending text with css styling
    So I resolved my issue
However I have to say I find the response poor. And as I am considering an agency licence, slightly concerning

    Hi Matt,

I’m sorry that you were unsatisfied with my response.  In general, it is usually a good tactic to start off by seeing if there is a conflict, so that we can move on and troubleshoot fresh.  Of course, using CSS to hide unwanted text is always an option, and I’m glad that you found a resolution that way.

Is there anything else I can help you with at this time?

    Thanks,

    Jaime
