/ being added after the events slug instead of before it

I have been trying the demo version of your plugin and run into a very odd problem with it. Instead of the events slug directing to mysite.com/events it is directing to mysite.comevents/. I’ve run through the basic troubleshooting steps on your site and tried clearing my site cache, changing the slug to something else, manually adding a / before it, and all all the other basic things I could think of. Currently I’m using the WordPress theme Vela which does use custom some custom post types and a custom permalink structure. I’m not sure if that has something to do with it or not. But, it would be great if I could know for sure that the plugin will work on my site if I’m going to purchase it.

I’m sorry to hear about this! I cannot recreate any of this behavior, so for now I would recommend two things:

1. First, share your system information with us. Here’s how → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

2. Next, do the complete set of troubleshooting steps outlined here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/. After EACH STEP in that process, go to Settings → Permalinks in your site’s wp-admin. Click “Save changes” without actually changing anything, which is a weird little “hack” in WordPress to get the permalinks to refresh. Then check on your events URL and see if anything improves. Be sure to do this after EACH step—let us know what you find!
