MemberGood evening Melanie,
Thank you for the detailed clarification.
We are in agreement, we need to troubleshoot this deeper.
Let me know how that goes, including perhaps reverting to the Beta of the plugin.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

ParticipantI’ve spent hours testing this. I spun up an install on WPE and installed TEC, ET, and ET+ and woocommerce with 2016 theme and got all attendee information in the emails. I did not receive the Organizer copy.
I deactivated all the plugins on the GACPR site and it ended up being Woocommerce Pretty Emails that was keeping the attendee information from showing.
Just to clarify about emails sent:
The following emails are going out:
Your Ticket Order – Customer – CONTAINS ATTENDEE NAME
Order Completed – Customer – CONTAINS ATTENDEE NAME
New customer order – Admin – CONTAINS ATTENDEE NAME
Organizer Email – Never receivedHowever, the issue of the error when checking out tangible goods remains.
Notice: Undefined variable: quantity in /home/melani42/public_html/gacpr/wp-content/plugins/event-tickets-plus/src/Tribe/Commerce/WooCommerce/Main.php on line 694
Not only is the error on the screen but it shows in all the emails.I have switched to default theme….the error remains
I have disabled all plugins except what is necessary to run TEC. ET+, and Woocommerce. Error remains
I have removed all Woocommerce and The Events Calendar custom functions in the functions.php file …the error remains.
If I deactivate Event Tickets Extension: Additional Email Options plugin the error goes away.December 19, 2016 at 11:42 pm #1208046Brook
ParticipantHowdy Melanie,
Geoff shared this topic with me because I authored the Email Options extension you’re using.
After poring over your descriptions of problems, and the extension itself, I think I have found a couple of bugs. I am actually already working on an updated version of this extension, we are adding a couple more features to it and trying to make it more robust. In particular it currently only CCs the organizer for RSVPs, not when a ticket is purchased. This probably explains why you are not getting the organizer CC email. But, I am working to add support for WooTickets to this feature as well.
I am hoping to have a new version of this extension near the end of this week or sometime next week. I will post back when I do, and you can test it out to see if it solves all the issues you have experienced. In the mean time please let me know if you have any questions.
Cheers!

ParticipantBrook,
Thanks for taking a look. Just an FYI I have TEC, ET+ and Email Options on a site that just does RSVP and the CC organizer email doesn’t work either. I have another site ready to use the RSVP as well and it doesn’t send the CC organizer either when I tested it yesterday. I did test the blank install on WPE using RSVP before I installed Woocommerce and no CC either.Melanie

ParticipantThat is good to know. I’ll extensively test feature in the new version, hopefully it will work better for you as soon as you activate it.

ParticipantLooking forward to it. Thanks. This is the last item (hopefully) on this site before it goes live. He is a high maintenance client so I want him to be happy.

ParticipantI completely understand that, we have all had one of those clients. It’s my pleasure to help!

ParticipantGreat. Plus this will be a great value add on to my retirement communities sites – I have been using WP Events Manager for their marketing calendars. Adding in RSVP (it has to send an email) to their seminars will make me a winner.

ParticipantHope you had a wonderful Holiday Brook. Once we solve the undefined variable issue caused by the additional email options when purchasing a tangible product I will be thrilled. That is the very last issue hopefully for this picky client.

ParticipantHello again Melanie,
I am so sorry for the delay. I really wish I could have had this ready before the holiday. We just scheduled everything out for this release and this now has a new due date: this Friday. I will get back to you on or before Friday with the new extension version.

ParticipantThanks Brook,
No worries. I’ll let me client know.January 23, 2017 at 4:23 pm #1222613Melanie Adcock
ParticipantI’ve updated the plugins with the latest but I am still getting an error when purchasing a product other than a ticket.

ParticipantThe error goes away if the the box “Attach event information to WooCommerce emails, such as the the Attendee meta information.” is left UNCHECKED.
If a product and ticket are purchased together there is no fatal error. It seems it doesn’t know how to handle it when there is no ticket in the cart.
I’ve deactivated all plugins and used a default theme using only woocommerce and TEC and still get the fatal error so it isn’t a conflict.

ParticipantHowdy Melanie,
I am happy to hear you were able to get the error to go away. But obviously, that does not sound like a great solution to disable that setting.
We now have a beta version of the new extension available for download here. I am very sorry for the delay, this extension went through the rounds a few times. It was initially included in the “Additional Email Options” extension. But, we realized that this extension does more than affect just the emails, it will even impact the My Orders screen and anywhere else Woo shows the order details. So eventually it was decided to break this out into its own thing.
Just download and install this extension, and the attendee + event details will start showing up in all of your emails. No need to enable or disable any options. Further, it will support having a product in the cart alongside tickets, without throwing any errors. At least, that is happening in my tests. If you are still facing any problems please let me know. 🙂 While I called this a “beta”, to my knowledge it has no bugs. We simply want to beta test it first for a little bit.
Cheers!

ParticipantBrook,
I tested the beta extension on another site I am setting up events tickets plus on and I don’t get the name on the emails or on the ticket email. I get the this. I’ll be testing the cpr site this week. I am swamped with other work.
