GuestHi,
We’ll be looking to use the plugin (i think Calendar Pro & Tickets Plus) but need to know if people will be able to cancel their bookings.
We’ll be using it internally, so initially there will be no selling of tickets, just confirming places at events. If someone has confirmed a place at an event, can they cancel it themselves from an ‘account’ area, or from the confirmation email they received or would a cancellation need to be done by the event owner?
Thanks,

MemberHi, David. Thanks for your interest in our plugin suite.
Event Tickets (ET) allows for free RSVP type tickets or charging for tickets via PayPal payments. Its paid upgrade, Event Tickets Plus (ET+), does add some extra features, of course.
Users can change their reply from “Going” to “Not Going”. You can read more about this here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/display-a-list-of-attendees-events/
Last but not least, we have Bundles and a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

GuestThat’s great, thanks for getting back to me.
I’ve installed the plugins (events calendar and event tickets) to test it and I’m impressed so far.
My next question is, am I able to customise the email confirmation received by the person booking a place on the event. I like how it comes through as a ticket but from an organisation point of view I’d also need to add in some extra information. It doesn’t have to be inside the ticket itself but maybe before or after it?
Also, is there the ability to send reminder emails x amount of days before an event is to take place?
Thanks.

MemberHi, David. Glad to hear.
1) You can override /wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/src/views/tickets/email.php and other views in our plugins by following our Themer’s Guide (our “how-to” walk-through video may prove helpful)
2) I believe you’re requesting the same thing as one of our existing feature requests: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/8391186-reminder-emails-for-x-days-before-event
Please do add your vote there. This allows us to gauge interest in this particular feature request, which helps us prioritize our development efforts.
Thank you.

GuestThat’s great, I will. Thanks.
One final question (I think). When using RSVP, is it possible to restrict this to one. So if a person is logged into WordPress, making a booking, they can only select 1 place/ticket on the event and not have the option to select multiple?
Thanks,
