ParticipantHello,
This product has never worked for my organization. Anytime we run the aggregator, the entire calendar disappears from our site. I tried to get this resolved earlier, but the support staff was unable to help. I would like a complete reimbursement or for assistance in this matter.
Thanks,

ParticipantAdditionally, if there is a way to communicate via phone or even just email, it would be greatly appreciated. The forum system has not proven helpful.

MemberHi Josie, I referred back to https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/where-did-my-calendar-go-2/ to get your theme and the FB page to import from. However, your page has no upcoming events at this time, so I am unable to run a manual or scheduled import to continue testing.
Will you have upcoming events on the page soon?
Thanks

ParticipantI have The Events Calendar Pro installed and just recently I also installed
the Event Aggregator; when I did my first Facebook import, the Aggregator
pulled 21 new events from Facebook. But when I went to go check on those events, the Calendar on my website
wasnβt loading properly β a description of one event loaded instead of the
whole calendar. Any idea as to why this is happening? When Iβve tried
running the import again, I get the same result. Any ideas?July 19, 2017 at 11:18 am #1323477Courtney

ParticipantThanks Courtney,
I’ve added 5 or 6 upcoming events to our Facebook page this morning. So there should be a new batch that could be imported.

MemberThanks Josie
I was able to run the import locally and see those events populate. I saw the default events page working using the default themes in WordPress as well. However, with my basic knowledge of this theme, the default events page resulted in some errors and would not display. The errors indicate basically that I hadn’t defined this post type “Events”. This narrows it down specifically to a theme conflict.
https://www.ait-themes.club/knowledge-base/how-to-edit-layout-of-custom-post-type-detail-page-in-page-builder/ may help you with the events page layout.
I am seeing http://www.madwv.com/upcoming-events/category/upcoming-events/ displaying correctly. Are you as well? If you try to run an import now, does the preview of events display?
Also, I’d strongly suggest running all updates, including WordPress itself. There are known security vulnerabilities with outdated versions, as well as bugs. It’d be advised to fully back up your site before running the update, and/or also try doing updates first on a staging server.
Please let me know if the events are importing and if you are seeing the working theme as I do on the link above.
Thanks

ParticipantHey Courtney,
I’ve run all of the updates, including WordPress and both The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar Pro. But I’m still not able to import the Facebook events I added last week.

MemberHi Josie
When I inspect your site, I’m still seeing WordPress 4.5.9. The current version is 4.8. Can you try updating WordPress to the new version?
Of course, we strongly recommend you do this first on a staging site instead of your live site to ensure all goes smoothly. Also, it’s advised that you run a full site backup before pushing a big jump in WordPress versions to the live site.
Please let me know how you make out with that.
Thanks

ParticipantOn the bottom right of each page of the site, it says WordPress 4.8, and there are no updates for WordPress listed that I can see. So from what I can tell, it is up to date.

MemberHi Josie
I would like to escalate this issue further. To be clear, I am seeing the calendar display at http://www.madwv.com/upcoming-events/category/upcoming-events/.
I also am seeing http://www.madwv.com/ display as WP 4.5, but the calendar page display as 4.8.
To gather enough information for me to escalate, can you send in one more super helpful bit of information?
Would you mind enabling WP_DEBUG and sharing any PHP errors you see while navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket?
Once you share your WP_DEBUG findings, we may be able to get an idea of any plugin or theme conflicts.
Please enable WP_DEBUG on your site. You’ll need to edit to your site’s wp-config.php file and change this line of code:
define('WP_DEBUG', false);to this:define('WP_DEBUG', true);
(or add this line of code if you can’t find mention of ‘WP_DEBUG’ in your wp-config.php file)If any errors do appear while navigating your site’s pages, please copy and paste them in their entirety into a new ticket reply — along with the URL of where you saw the error(s) — and make sure you set it as a Private reply.
===
If you don’t see any WP_DEBUG messages while browsing your site, could you try temporarily activating the default Twenty Fifteen theme, and seeing if the issue persists.
If disabling the theme fixes it, we have narrowed the issue down to a theme conflict. Do you have any theme overrides for the Events Calendar? If so could you try disabling them by renaming your [themename]/tribe-events/ folder to βtribe-events-bakβ. Did that fix it?
If the issue persists in the default Twenty Fifteen theme, then we have a different set of debugging steps. Please keep the Twenty Fifteen theme enabled, and also disable any plugins other than the ones from Modern Tribe to see if that fixes it. If it does, please try re-enabling the plugins one at a time until the issue resurfaces. When it does resurface, can you let me know which plugin caused that to happen?

Thanks
