Advanced Minicalender Fast Forward Not Working Correctly

I’m having the same problem as this user: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/advanced-minicalendar-widget-not-working-properly/

Basically, the fast forward function overrides the filter that I have entered in the calendar sidebar widget. I want to only show upcoming events for a single tag, but when I activate the helper plugin to fast forward through empty months, I see all events, not just those for the chosen filter/tag. Any ideas?

With that in mind, although the issue does seem to be very similar, it is possible that the cause is slightly different.

As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

Secondly, could you provide me with a screenshot of your settings for the calendar widget ?
