ParticipantHi, guys!
Thank you for such a nice product. We have one issue with Admin -> Events -> Settings tabs which are somehow not responding to user clicks without any console errors. The tab is highlighted, but the tab content is not getting switched.
I have searched the support forum for a while but still didn’t find any help.
Here are the credentials, so you could take a look at the issue:

MemberHello Hugh!
Thanks for your kind words! Welcome to the forums! 🙂
I’m really sorry you are experiencing that issue. It does seem strange. Let me help you troubleshoot it.
First, let me note that we cannot accept login credentials as stated in our terms. We also removed them from your post for security purposes because these forums are publicly accessible. If you were to send us sensitive information you can do so by posting a private reply.
Now regarding to the issue, it could be related to a plugin or theme conflict, so could you please go through the complete steps in this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/ and let me know what you can find in the process?
Also, I noticed you are using WordPress 4.7.5, please try updating to the latest version 4.8 and see if it changes anything.
Let us know how it goes and if you have any other question.

ParticipantHi Victor!
Thank you taking a look at our issue (and for hiding our site credentials from public :)). Yes, as my team reports, we have spent a while playing around with the issue. What was previously done:
1. Deactivating all plugins except EC
2. Switching to one of the basic long supported WP themes (2016)But we are still at the same point. Also I have updated the WP version to the latest one.
Please let me know if anything else could be done from our side.

MemberHello Hugh!
Thanks for following up and for doing all the tests.
It can be a corrupted install of the plugins, so could you please deactivate and delete all of our plugins and then install them from scratch? You can always download your latest copy from your downloads page.
If that does not solve the issue, then please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG ? This will create a debug.log file inside the /wp-content directory.
After that, try navigating a few times into the page where you are having the issue, so that in case there is an error, it will be saved into the debug.log file. Please share that log file with us so we can spot the problem from there.
Thanks,

ParticipantThanks, Victor, will work through suggested steps.
Besides, I am not sure if I need to start a new thread regarding events map default positioning (as I probably don’t have access to it’s settings tab). We have this weird map behavior, when it’s initial load area is Null Island near Africa. I have searched the forum for a similar issue, but could not reach to thread private replies here. Are you guys aware of this issue and what are possible steps to resolve?

MemberHello Hugh!
Thanks for following up.
The map issue could be due to not having set a Google Maps API in the settings, in which case you first need to be able to access the Events Settings. Here is a good article about setting up your Google Maps API > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-your-google-maps-api-key/
Like you say, it’s always better to deal with different issues in different threads. This ensures we don’t mix up things and it allows us to give proper attention and support to each of them. In this case, however, you might be able to solve the map issue after solving the tabs issue.
Let us know how that goes.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
