ParticipantI’ve done everything this page suggests:
And more. Myself and my team are unable to recover the calendar for the site. Urgent help would be greatly appreciated.

MemberHey Ben,
Thank you for reaching out to us! I’m very sorry about this issue you are experiencing.
I’ve verified that although your calendar is displaying this 404 error, the HTTP status for this page is HTTP/1.1 200 OK (you can check this by pasting your calendar URL (http://fullmoonhotel.com.au/calendar/) here).
So it seems that your calendar is loading as expected, but for some reason it’s being hidden/replaced by this generic 404 error.
Can you please temporarily change your current active theme to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Seventeen and let me know if the calendar works as expected after that?
Also, it would be helpful to follow this tutorial to determine if there’s a conflict happening and what is causing it.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you need anything else in the mean time and I’ll be happy to assist!
Regards,
Patricia

MemberHi Ben,
Please accept out sincere apologies for the delayed response as our forums are monitored on weekdays.
Can you please confirm that you followed all the steps mentioned bellow and the issue persists?
1- Flushed your permalinks (As recommended on “Fixing HTTP 404 errors” article).
2- Changed your theme to another one like Twenty Seventeen and deactivated all of your plugins (as recommended in the Testing for conflicts article).
3- If you didn’t try it yet, clear your site’s cache while having all plugins deactivated and let me know if the issue persists. If none of these options helped you to solve your problem I would ask you to send us a copy of your site files (plugins and themes directories) and database in a private reply so we can further investigate this issue.
Also, if you have any other questions in the mean time, please let me know and I’ll be happy to assist!
Regards,
Patricia

MemberHi Ben!
I’ve found the cause of the issue you were experiencing:
Please access your Dashboard and head over to Events → Settings → Display. When I first accessed this page, only Photo view was enabled while the default view was set to Month. Basically the month view wasn’t enabled in your calendar settings, that’s the reason why you were getting that 404 error.
At this moment I’ve enabled all event views and your calendar is working as expected.
If you want to use only photo view in your site, please make sure to enable Photo view and also change the default view to photo, otherwise you will get this 404 error again.
If you have any other questions in the mean time please let me know and I’ll be happy to assist!
Best regards,
Patricia

ParticipantOK great! All for such a small setting! Thanks for sorting that.

MemberHi Ben,
I didn’t realize that this option would be the cause of the issue until I’ve found it disabled in your site!
I’m glad to know that everything is working as expected for you as well.
Let me know if you need anything else and have a great day 🙂
Cheers,
Patricia
