The latest update of The Events Calendar focuses on accessibility enhancements and ensuring that custom SEO titles are correctly applied in Yoast SEO.
As always, we recommend testing updates on a staging site first, but it should all be smooth sailing.
✅ Fixes
Bugs squashed in this release:
- Adds an outline on hover for the datepicker.
- Increases contrast of text for past event times.
⚙️ Tweaks
Tweaks in this release:
- Changes views: `modules/meta/organizer`, `v2/components/content-title`, `v2/components/header`, `v2/day/nav`, `v2/day/top-bar/nav`, `v2/month/calendar-body/day/cell-title`, `v2/month/calendar-body/day/date`, `v2/month/top-bar/nav`
- Custom SEO titles set in Yoast SEO for Event Categories and Event Tags are now correctly applied to both the page `<title>` tag and `og:title` meta tag.
- Restores `post_tag` for events after `change_locale` action, which was being overwritten for fr_FR, causing the tags to not show with the block editor.
