This update to Event Tickets 5.2.4 features improved compatibility with the Gutenberg Editor.

As always, we recommend testing updates on a staging site first, but it should all be smooth sailing.

✅ Fixed

Bugs that were squashed in this release

  • We removed the wp.editor.InnerBlocks Gutenberg component in favor of wp.blockEditor.InnerBlocks which was deprecated since version 5.3.

  • We now prevent scripts from loading on all Admin pages, so that they only load on pages needed.
  • We’ve made performance improvements around Block Asset loading and redundancy.
  • Added internal caching of values to reduce the get_option() call count.
  • Switched from sanitize_title_with_dashes to sanitize_key in a couple of instances for performance gains.
  • We prevent asset loading from repeating calls to plugin URL and path, resulting in some minor performance gains.
  • We updated the way we handle Classic Editor compatibility, specifically around user choice.
  • Removed the incorrect reference for moment.min.js.map.
  • Fixed the troubleshooting page styles for standalone Event Tickets setup.
