Maintenance Release

Community Events 4.8.1 introduces a couple of minor fixes for the editing process as well as tweaks that improve the integration with our Virtual Events add-on.

📥 Installation

This is a minor release that should be smooth sailing when updating. That said, it’s always a good idea to backup your site and test changes in a development environment before installing this on your live site, as you would with any other WordPress update.

One template was updated in this release, so please check if any custom development has been done on it before updating.

🐛 Fixes

The following fixes are included:

• Show the saved category and tags while editing the event on the front end.
• Ensure that submissions with multiple categories or tags is properly saved.
• Add more spacing between checkboxes for the Virtual Events integration.
