Migrating events from Modern Events Calendar to The Events Calendar

The Events Calendar includes a CSV importer tool which allows you to import events, venues, and organizers into your site’s calendar. This is a great way to quickly and easily add a lot of content to your calendar all at once.

This extension was created to facilitate the migration of events, venues and organizers from Modern Events Calendar to The Events Calendar. Your event data will be exported and saved in CSV files that can be used to import events, venues and organizers.

Generating your CSV files

To get started, install and activate this extension on your site, access your Dashboard and head over to Events > Settings > Imports. At the bottom of the Imports page, you will find a session called “Migration Tools – Modern Events Calendar”. Click the export buttons to generate the CSV files for Events, Venues, and organizers.

? Note: Before exporting your data, please make sure that Modern Events Calendar is enabled on your site.
