ParticipantOk, we were able to fix the error and the aggregator plugin works.
The iCal import still didn’t work, but I found the problem.
Before the imported calendar was called “Social Zebras Meetings” in Google Calendar,
now I changed it to “Meetings” in the Google Calendar and finally it works. So it seems to be the space between the words or a too long name..
But Still, if I change the name or information in an event in the Google Calendar,
it doesn’t update the informations in the Events Calendar on wordpress! Which is still usless for us.Also in the image bellow there is a bug in the events overview.. Why are the titelfields so short?
Stefan
ParticipantAnd the worst thing is, we just started a big marketing campaign for an event, which infos are all on our now blocked website..
Stefan
ParticipantI was unfortunately not able to do that with FTP, since only one guy of us has access to FTP and he had no time in the last days to do it.
Now I realized the plugin is available official.
I updated, added the license key and like the plugin said, I wanted to deactivate the iCal addon, since the events aggregator takes the job.
Now I cannot access the wordpress site anymore, the whole site is blocked..
What can I do?
This error shows up for all page visitors now:
Fatal error: Class ‘Tribe__Events__Ical_Importer__Main’ not found in /home/httpd/vhosts/aemer.ch/social-zebras.com/wp-content/themes/generatepress/functions.php on line 746Stefan
ParticipantStefan
ParticipantStill the same error!
“No iCal data was found at this URL.”
with the private iCal link I already mentioned here.
Stefan
ParticipantNope, it’s still not working…
I was just able to download my ics file and upload it,
so only do a manually import which is useless in my case.
But the time of the events of the ics import with the Version 4.2.3 is right. At least. The Aggregator is great, but I cannot invest even more into this new plugin, after I bought already a not working iCal importer Plugin and Facebook events importer which also doesn’t work perfect. :/ So what is your solution now in this case to make our site work?
Stefan
ParticipantCan you recommend a iCal Calendar which works for sure? We could also switch to that.
The only important thing for us is, to be able to create the events on a smartphone,
therefore we use Google Calendar, since you can use iCal to subscribe it.
But if there is another service which is compatible, let me know!Stefan

ParticipantOk that is very strange..
Since I deleted the iCal and wanted to add it again and it didn’t work,
I figured out it was able to still add NEW events from the .ics file,
if I download it and upload it as .ics import. This means, EVEN when I have in future events in my Google Calendar, which I deleted on my The Events Calendar calendar and want to add them again, they won’t show up in the import. Only the events show up, which the plugin never saw.. So where are this imports saved? Which database? And how can I reset this database?
Stefan
Participantget now always the “No iCal data was found at this URL.” error..
already before and now after the downgrade. :/

ParticipantBtw, the time information of the Facebook import is right. Just the iCal import has problems with the starting time.
Stefan
Participant+ I don’t know yet, if the event information update also doesn’t work with the Facebook importer, which we also use?
If this is the case, we need here also a updating solution. Because the topics of the meetings can change or we inform in the title and description if a event gets canceled. -
