Hey Barry, could this be the cause of the issue i’m experiencing on this thread–>.

Change all instances of 'Events' to 'Something' – Solution has backend side-effect

If so, is there a simple workaround to bring back the missing WP Backend UI elements?

This was working in earlier versions combinations of ECP & Enfold. i.e 3.7ECP and Enfold 2.9.x The upgrade to the latest versions broke things and it’s damn hard to work out what to do.
It appears that this issue may be related to these threads… Any ideas on a workaround?

3.8 breaks Kriesi Enfold Theme 3.0 – 3.7 worked fine.

I removed the customised css and functions and same problem. I’ll zip up the theme and child theme and send you a link soon.

Hi Barry,

The code was not modified at all apart from replacing the instances of Meeting, Meetings, meeting & meetings that appeared in th code snipped with Class, Classes, class and classes. As i mentioned, the solution ONLY works on words where the plural is not formed by adding an ‘es’
