I just solved this problem. There was one plugin that I did not disable. I missed it. It is the UberMenu plugin. When disabled, the problem goes away. I checked the settings and noticed that it loads the Google Map API. I turned off this function and now everything work fine. You may wish to keep a note on this matter as the UberMenu is becoming a common menu plugin.

This matter can now be closed.

Henry, Yes I know how to add the target=”_blank” code. If I add this and then get an update of the plugin, my custom code will go away until I write it again. I would recommend adding this code to the “public plugin”.
