September 13, 2018 at 6:37 am in reply to: Events Tickets Plus – Will It Function As Required? #1620632vincenthParticipant
The problem with adding my vote to that ticket is it was opened 5 years ago. It’s still on the “long term” roadmap. All the issues I’ve raised are in the 5 most requested feature ideas, and all are 5+ years old with hundreds of votes.
Between Eventbrite, Events Ticket Plus, and Community Tickets, there isn’t a way to add a line of text to the emails the customers get? I don’t see why I can’t turn off things like the security code that is seemingly randomly generated and used nowhere else in any admin configuration. I don’t think this should take php edits any time I want to do this. Events tickets has a description field under advanced settings, why wouldn’t that show up on the emails as well as the front end?
vincenthParticipantOh dang, that’s really tedious. I figured recurring events would allow for more configuration for recurring tickets, especially in a paid platform.
Not being taken as advice, but if I did want to break off recurring events from the initial event, how would I go about doing that?
Lastly, the email attendees get, how can I edit that? I’m not seeing it in any admin areas and that’s something that needs to be configurable for sure!
vincenthParticipantThe issues with confirmation and styling have been resolved
vincenthParticipantweird! It’s gone! I think I may have accidentally found the plugin that was causing the issue, and it’s since been removed.
Thanks for the assistance!
vincenthParticipantUnfortunately, working with a ton of content and a custom theme, reverting to stock twentyeighteen, and disabling/re-enabling all the plugins isn’t really an option.
If the plugin isn’t compatible with the theme, then I will have to find a different plugin.
vincenthParticipantdone!
