ParticipantThanks Geoff, I forgot to check the filter box! Clearing the cache fixed the last problem. It all seems to be working correctly again now. Thanks for working through the problem with me.
I did have one more question, though it’s unrelated so answering is optional: I was wondering if it’s possible to have the events calendar create pop-ups instead of redirect to new pages when clicking on events. For context, I was looking at switching over to this theme: http://demo.designwall.com/dw-page/?theme=dw-page-modern#portfolio and was hoping to structure things like the “project” pop-ups. Is there an easy work-around to do this possible with events calendar or does it require fiddling with core coding?

ParticipantHey Geoff,
I did try disabling and reactivating plugins initially when troubleshooting without any discoveries. Tried it again while going through the Testing for Conflicts guide as suggested and found that disabling the “Events Pro” plugin actually allowed the events to turn up on the backend again! Doesn’t appear to be any other plugin or theme conflicts. Any idea why this might be happening and how to get around it? Both plugins are latest version (3.9).
Cheers,

ParticipantHi Geoff,
Thanks for the response! My initial reinstalls were using fresh downloads of the plugin. The Event Rocket Plugin did a good job of resetting the calendar back to factory settings.
Only problem now (and it’s a big on unfortunately) is that when I post an event, it appears on the calendar, but doesn’t appear on the backend. Basically all events are now un-editable. It still says the event exists – All (1), Published (1) – but then doesn’t appear on the backend. This is beginning to be a real hassle as I’m having to do this on a live site that relies very heavily on the plugin (why I got pro). Any suggestions?
Cheers,

ParticipantHi Casey, thanks for the response. I double checked and the start and end dates are definitely in there. Interestingly when you click into an event the “date” is also missing (further issue with recurrence maybe?)
Thanks for the link to The Community Events plugin, that looks like exactly what I’m after!
Cheers!

ParticipantThanks Casey,
Changing permalinks instantly fixed the recurrence issue!
The only other issue now is that start dates don’t show on hover in the main calendar view. This is pretty minor, but is there a fix?
Also, on a different tangent (for a future website), does Event Calendar Pro have any capacity for front end users to create events? Specifically if a venue was a singular user (looking to create a local gig guide where users can upload their events directly into the calendar). -
