That is because I have it setup to only use the code if you are on the current day view and haven’t used the navigation. But yes, that is the issue I am having.

    This is incorrect:
    5:45 pm
    Kuan Yin Rosary
    August 9 @ 5:45 pm

The time should look like this:
    August 9 @ 5:00 am โ€“ 8:00 am

This only happen in day view if you don’t navigate but that is only because I set it up that way. I tested and if I let the code run everywhere it would happen everywhere. Any support you can give would be great! Thanks!

Here is a link to my test site. http://summitldev.wpengine.com/members/broadcast-calendar/today/ It is a highly customized version of my The Events Calendar so it is possible something is affecting the problem but if I don’t use that code then the problem isn’t there. I made it so it only is used on day view so if you click on month view you will see the times will show up properly and that it is also hiding the old events. Depending on what time you look at it. Hope this helps. Thanks for the help.

Thank you for your help. I was able to find a solution to my problem by altering the navigation so that it only goes to the calendar using these formats:
    /events/month/?tribe-bar-date=2015-04
    /events/today/
    /events/

The shortcode is a content protection shortcode from the plugin Protected Content by WPMUDEV. It looks like this:

    [ms-protect-content id=”38922″]
    The protected content
    [/ms-protect-content]

Thank you for any help you are able to give.

Ok, that makes sense. I guess I jumped to conclusions.

The short codes work when the url is in the formats of:
    /events/month/?tribe-bar-date=2015-04
    /events/today/
    /events/

It doesn’t work in the formats of:
    /events/2015-04/
    /events/2015-04-05/

Do you know what the difference of these is or how we might fix this problem?

I am not sure I understand how โ€œtribe_is_month()โ€ would help me.

Would it be easy to make it so that when you go from day to month view just the month is set and not a specific date and when you go back to day view it goes to the current date? If I could get this done it would be a sufficient workaround for my problem.

I think that my problem is the WPML does a hook to the query_posts somewhere and that prevents me from displaying all events the way I want it. I will look into to how to remove or override that hook, at least for the list.php template.

I have a similar situation, I am having a hard time making ECP work with WPML.

When I see list of events, it displays fine in English, but if I select Spanish or other language I get a 404.

I don’t know where else to look for and can’t seem to find any work around, I tired Jeremy’s code but didn’t work.

    Thanks!

    Hey Rob, thanks for responding!

Just today I was wondering how to accomplish, I even bought http://wp-types.com/ in hope that Views would let me pull the city from Venues custom post types from ECP and then create the view/filter I wanted but turns out that Views does not see the custom fields of events.

Since the event is approaching, I don’t think I have the time to dig into the code, I hope I can find an easy work around.

I will look into the documentation again.

    Hi Rob,

    Thanks for anwering!

Yes, what I need is similar to the venue page, what may be really helpful is to be able to either filter or sort by country and city. One more thing I was thinking today (and that would be a super extra plus to have) is the ability to display a map with pins where events are happening.

So Community Events should be pretty handy to me these days, since we are having around March 10.

    Thanks again!

I was just trying to figure out why it was not working for me, because even though the tribe_ capabilities are there, they don’t take any effect.

Finding this is helpful, I agree with Tony’s suggestion.

    Thanks!
