Hi Cliff,
it took a while, but I’ve now implemented the change you suggest (as per this screenshot : https://www.screencast.com/t/IDx2HSykQbEz ) – and then deactivated and reactivated the plugin to ensure the change is pick up.
I tested it in a few browsers, including when logged out of the admin area, and I’m afraid this did not work for me.Do you have any other suggestions I could try please?
thanks

Yes, so actually the “display venue URL” has 2 bugs – the one you point out in the video you made, when it shows incorrectly in the sidebar, as well as my issue when the URL doesn’t open in a new tab when viewing a single event as per my last screenshot.
It’s not urgent that I make a change, just a “I’d really like it soon but can wait a wee while” – would you be so kind as to update this ticket when it’s fixed?
thanks

I’m afraid that thisdoesn’t seem to have resolved things : if you go to my test event at http://www.traceyrissik.co.uk/carita/event/2nd-1p-test/ and click on the first of the links to the venue (as per screenshot https://www.screencast.com/t/7pRklEg81HP ) it still opens the link in the same tab, not a new tab/window.I have the latest versions of all Events plugin (see screenshot https://www.screencast.com/t/kazBINRQoo12 ) but no change in how things work… sorry!
thanks

thanks for getting back to me. So can I just confirm, what you’re saying is that I’ll have to wait for a bug fix until this can be resolved?
I had also thought of adding in ‘ target=”_blank” ‘ but as my PHP isn’t very strong, it wasn’t immediately obvious to me where in the code it should go – screenshot of code : https://www.screencast.com/t/1DJFgivACyy1

TraceytracilondonParticipantI’d like to add a comment that may be of assistance, as I was experiencing a similar issue.
1) ensure that under Events > Settings > Tickets, you have “Enable Tribe Commerce” ticked ON.
2) I had initially set up Event Tickets Plus using just Tribe for payments, but then wanted to add in Woocommerce. I had several test tickets set up which were not showing Woocommerce options, but as soon as I entered a brand new ticket “from scratch”, it sorted things out – and I proved this by adding a new ticket (and getting to the Woocommerce cart as expected) but then after that, when I did a test purchase on an old event “pre-woocommerce”, it did not work in the same way.
These 2 things have meant things are now working correctly for me.
I hope that helps!

thanks for getting back to me & for arranging to get this fixed. Do you have any idea how long this fix might take?
Thanks!
