ParticipantOh great, yes the other site is also running TEC. So we will use the second option you suggested.
Thanks Nico!

August 7, 2015 at 9:41 am in reply to: Community Events plugin error: "Organiser Name Already Exists" #994296A K
ParticipantMy issue is resolved. My developer wrote to me:
“Fixed. It was a mistake by me. The site was throwing this error
<br />
<b>Warning</b>: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in <b>/home/[USERNAME]/public_html/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php</b> on line <b>1419</b><br />

<b>Warning</b>: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in <b>/home/[USERNAME]/public_html/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php</b> on line <b>1419</b><br />In console. A little inspection showed that it was caused by ‘remove_menu_page’ function.
We had used remove_menu_page to remove the events for subscribers. The problem was it should not have been called for ajax requests.”

ParticipantI temporarily removed that code, it did not help.
If I privately share my admin login, can you investigate from the back end?

ParticipantYes, I used this snippet of yours to set required fields:
I will try removing that code and see if it solves the problem.

July 12, 2015 at 6:38 am in reply to: Licenses tab missing from settings in multisite main site #985695A K
ParticipantHi Geoff,
You wrote: “try installing the plugins directly to that site instead of at the network level”.
According to WP, that’s not possible:
https://codex.wordpress.org/Multisite_Network_Administration#Plugins
“All plugins are installed on the network dashboard’s plugin page, and can be activated per-site or for the entire network.”I activated the plugin per-site for one site only.
Does the error message mean I am not getting automatic updates?
July 11, 2015 at 1:30 pm in reply to: Licenses tab missing from settings in multisite main site #985644A K
ParticipantI was working off old information.
This article earlier had a final paragraph explaining that one can only view the License tab on the primary site.Seems like you recently changed the instructions?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/multisite-license/Now I can view the License tab on the subsite where I am actually using the plugins, but it’s still giving this error:
“It looks like this license is being used on a multisite network. Please visit https://theeventscalendar.com/products/ to purchase a multisite license.”July 11, 2015 at 1:20 pm in reply to: Licenses tab missing from settings in multisite main site #985642A K
ParticipantSomehow I got the License tab to show up.
I added the keys for Pro, FB, Filters and Community Events – but each is giving the error message:
“It looks like this license is being used on a multisite network. Please visit https://theeventscalendar.com/products/ to purchase a multisite license.”I am only using these plugins on one site of my multisite, so I don’t want/need a multisite license.
Does the error message mean I am not getting automatic updates?
A K
ParticipantThanks Brook. Earlier I was trying /events/past but missed the final slash. I tried events/past/ with the final slash and it redirects to events/list/?tribe_event_display=past. That seems to be showing past events as desired? It looks similar to your URL.
