ParticipantHi Jennifer
Thank you for your patience on this. I have read the docs and followed the procedures. Again, the events appear properly and are displayed correctly in both languages. The problem is that the “ver todos” link on the events page goes to the wrong url. It tries to link to
https://templodoser.org/event/hatha-vinyasa-flow/todos/?lang=pt-br
But that Event archive page does NOT exist. It should link to:
https://templodoser.org/event/hatha-vinyasa-flow/all/?lang=pt-br
So somehow the word “all” in the Portuguese link in being translated to “todos” which should not be the case. My guess is that there is some unwanted string translation going on here.

ParticipantHi Andras,
My apologies on this. I have cross posted this issue here:And jennifer is helping me with this.
I’ve muddled my way through on most of the issues except for the “see all” link on recurring events
My one remaining issue is with the “view all events” I just sent this to Jennifer which seems to be related to a translation of the the words “todos/all” in the url is below.
My system info is accessible. Main language is english. Permalinks set to month and name. Maybe you and jennifer can work together to figure this out. I’ve been slowly resolving most of these problems, but WPML can be complex!
Hi Jennifer,
On the portuguese event page here:
https://templodoser.org/event/hatha-vinyasa-flow/2018-07-13/?lang=pt-br/
If I click on “ver todos”
I arrive at this page:
https://templodoser.org/event/hatha-vinyasa-flow/todos/?lang=pt-br (which is “page not found”)
It should take me to this page:
https://templodoser.org/event/hatha-vinyasa-flow/all/?lang=pt-br
If i go to an english event page for instance:
https://templodoser.org/event/hatha-vinyasa-flow/2018-07-06/
and click on “see all”
I arrive at this page:
https://templodoser.org/event/hatha-vinyasa-flow/all/
which is in english except it has a portuguese menu

ParticipantJennifer,
I have resolved ALL the issues per above by muddling through string translations etc. One remaining issue is that on translated recurring events such as here:
https://templodoser.org/event/hatha-vinyasa-flow/2018-07-03/?lang=pt-br/
if i click on the “ver todos” (view all) it takes me to an incorrect url.
and on the english page here:
https://templodoser.org/event/hatha-vinyasa-flow/2018-07-18/
if i click on the “see all”
It takes me to a correct page, but the menus are set in portuguese.
Wondering if you can help on this last one and thank you for your patience.
Thanks and if you’re in the US I hope you have a great holiday

ParticipantUpdate – by default when i click on organizer in in the portuguese event page, it tries to go to a page with the slug “organizador” – which does not exist. ie https://templodoser.org/organizador/renata-moura/?lang=pt-br
If i go into wpml string translation and change the URL slug”:tribe_organizer to “organizer” from “organizador” it fixes this problem, but then causes the “There were no results found.” on both the portuguese and english organizer page.
So this seems to be the root of this issue. Have you seen this particular problem before? any solutions?
templodoser
ParticipantI played with the plugins. Found that if i disable the “WPML String Translation” plugin then the “There were no results found.” problem under the organizer info goes away. However this causes a problem in that the calendar is no longer translated when moving to the next month.

ParticipantHi Jennifer,
I’ve clicked on the “Yes, automatically share my system information with the Modern Tribe support team” checkbox.Another issue i just noticed is that the events:archive which is the page to view recurring events is a difficult one to configure right with wpml. is there a way to disable the “see all” recurring event link?
I will disable the plugins, change to default theme and see if the events show up under her listing.

ParticipantHi Thank you Jennifer,
A few things…I have fixed the day and month translation issue by reviewing the documents you sent and thank you.
I have noticed that the month does not display on the “monthly” calendar display when i use the shortcode to display the calendar, but it does show up when i go to the default calendar page. Is there a shortcode parameter that i would need to add?
Next, please see this page:
https://templodoser.org/organizer/renata-moura/This is one of the organizers. She has one recurring event associated with her. Why is there a box under the descriptive text that says:
“There were no results found.” ?
If you go to the calendar page here:
https://templodoser.org/calendar/
you can see the recurring events associated with her.
Thank you again,
Ron
templodoser
ParticipantAlso please note that the month navigation breadcrumbs ie “August>>” are not translated either
templodoser
ParticipantNever mind per above…I figured it out and thanks!
templodoser
ParticipantThanks…still a little confused here. I have installed wpml. Both english and Portuguese languages are installed on site. Have installed Events Calendar Pro. How can I get the months and day names (ie Monday Tuesday etc.) to display in either English or Portuguese?
Thanks again
templodoser
ParticipantHi –
I’d like to clarify – I am using events calendar PRO – do I need WPML? I went to this page:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/adding-or-updating-a-translation/
I then clicked on “…go here anytime to create a free account” I get a 404 error.
Thanks,
