ParticipantHi Andras,
I tested with 2017 theme, disabled all other plugins, with and without caching plugin. Site speed is a bit better loading the month view but I got some 500 errors on first load, site takes too long to respond messages.
Logged in as an admin without cache it takes forever to load, over a minute in some cases.

ParticipantThanks Courtney, it did.
We disabled the feature and filters work as they should.Mathias Cordina
ParticipantHi Courtney,
We’ve tested on a dev site. The Yoast SEO plugin is causing the issue. All other plugins and themes on the site work fine. Even with all plugins updated to the latest, the issue persists.
We’ve also posted the issue on the Yoast support https://wordpress.org/support/topic/conflict-with-the-events-calendar-advanced-post-manager/

ParticipantHi Andras
This is a major issue for us and is having a significant impact on business.
Is there any way to escalate a resolution to this, paid or other? It’s likely a big contributor to the other memory/query results we’re getting: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/memories-queries-an-events
Thank you

ParticipantThank you Andras.
2000 events total doesn’t seem to be too many to us. How many can events calendar realistically handle?
Thank you

ParticipantThanks Courtney.
We’ll set up a dev environment to test this.

ParticipantThey are published events. Many were imported. They are not recurring.

ParticipantAny update on this?
We’ve found that the monthly calendar pages require 400 – 500MB to create, which if they’re not cached isn’t workable (takes about a minute and a half to display the page).
Thank you

ParticipantIn the first line of the third paragraph I meant events: “If you view the source of the page though, it looks like I can see at least 400 events”

ParticipantHi.
If you look at this page for instance: http://torontoadventures.ca/events/category/humberboatingevents/
It display the month view for events in one category and shows about 50 events.
If you view the source of the page though, it looks like I can see at least 400 categories (I could be wrong, but searching the source for “@type”:”Event” brings up more than 400 events. Search for “horse” for instance, and you’ll see 1000+ entries. There is nothing about horses in the front end of this page.)
We don’t see the same on week view, only on month view.
Thank you
Simon
