ParticipantStill not able to ICS import. I followed the FB instructions at the link you posted and I get this popup that allows me to choose the 30boxes.com calendar or an application on my hardrive (see attachment) and of course I can go no further to save the webcal link. Am I missing something??
Also, why is there an option for 30boxes.com! Are they allowing some calendar 3rd party access?
Hazel
ParticipantCourtney thank you kindly! I tried the instructions from FB and saved the .ics file for an event I indicated I was interested in on my hard drive then took the ICS import option and got this message every time I tried. Your preview doesn’t have any records to import.
Am I doing something wrong…see screenshot

ParticipantWhen was that work around by Xylus themes posted please?
Hazel
ParticipantJust a followup to see if you are planning on appealing the NO from Facebook? I saw on Twitter this is an action some 3rd party apps are taking who have been denied as well? Can we get an update on the plans to not just do a work around but be a squeaky wheel? Thank you!
Hazel
ParticipantThank you for your response Courtney. Are you saying this is the end of the road if they declined you? Surely there is an opportunity to appeal? What was the reason please?

ParticipantI checked in today on the status of Event Aggregator working again with FB and see as of yesterday there has been no change on their part.
Here is my question…is anyone going back to them about not hearing from them any further? How much are you rattling their chain? How about going up the chain of command to get some action? It is clear they have forgotten about MTribe! This is not acceptable! Surely you can get one of those lame techs to respond to you by bugging the heck out of them. You may be doing this already but there is no mention on how aggressive you are being with them at this point as a company.
Facebook is not a god and they are the worst partners ever with their hypocritical ads running in our timelines on how much they care for others! This should go viral how they are treating 3rd party companies! It’s disgraceful! At this point you have nothing to lose in my opinion to be more aggressive with them. This is an unacceptable practice in the business marketplace!

ParticipantCourtney thank you for responding. If we can help beta anything when that time comes, please let us know. Barry can tell you we stand by you guys during this event though this has been devastating for our business model we as I said, know you were not at fault here. FB is irresponsible and it’s sad they are getting a away with this for now.
I will be watching and hoping:-)

ParticipantBarry, Since the issue with the FB API is taking awhile, can I ask if there is a known problem with imports from Eventbrite in your Eventbrite ticket module?
If it is working fine to import EB events, does it work separately from the import feature in the calendar? I had my MTribe modules customized for our website and was under the understanding importing EB events was apart of the aggregator. I found out too late it was not and to have it added to our site now…I am wondering if it would be much work and if it is completely separate from Aggregator?
Hazel
ParticipantThank you Barry. I will let you know if I come across anything else helpful in this matter.
