AndrĂ¡s,
Thank you very much. You are amazing.
I figured out that name of the category does influence the outcome + there was a conflict with theme.
Thanks for taking extra step.Issue solved. All the best!

DmitryParticipant+ if I create any new event categories, their photo and week view are also shown as a mobile version when visited from desktop
DmitryParticipantFollow up on my investigation:
I ran a test and changed different default view for mobile devices (e.g. photo view) and desktop (e.g. month view) (please find screenshot of the settings attached).
When I visit a website from the desktop, in the spanish event category I see mobile version of the calendar (photo view) in the narrow form. If I use the same desktop to visit other event category, there is a normal desktop view with a default month view. Therefore, specifically for 1 event category, in photo view and week view, system for some reason takes a desktop devise as a mobile device and shows it in the narrow view.
Would be thankful for advise.DmitryParticipant+ i have checked the page – there seem to be no hidden sidebars, which would affect the view of the Spanish calendar

Thanks for support. After research I have found an issue: it was in the custom CSS I wrote for the theme.
As part of the CSS I used “display table in block”, which caused the problem.Thank you very much for support.
Kind regards,
Dmitry

I have tested the above-mentioned things in the staging environment, below are key fundings.
1. After disabling all other plugins issue remains
2. When changing the theme to a standard twenty-sixteen, there is no issue with the monthly view. There might be a compatibility issue with a theme, however:a. There was no compatibility conflict between theme and plugin on the first week of November and before (before the release of the new WordPress version).
b. I have tried downgrading the events calendar plugin, theme and the wordpress itself to the previous versions, but this conflict still remains, which screws the month view and “add new event” page.At this stage I can’t afford changing the theme unfortunately. More importantly, changing theme doesn’t guarantee that this issue won’t appear again.
Could you please tell if there is tip for solving the issue?
P.S. current theme used is Creattica https://wordpress.org/themes/creattica/Would be very thankful for advise.
Kind regards,
Dmitry

Thank you very much for investigation, will be waiting for further updates.
Just FYI, in my WP site, users, who have access to post events in community plugin have standard “author” roles. No custom roles used. Thank you
Kind regards,
Dmitry
