    1. The Filter Bar plugin is NOT network activated, however the EC and ECP plugins are Network Activated

    2. A message appears stating that my license is valid, but mentions we should upgrade to a MS license. On the front-end, the filter bar has a CSS rule hiding it (though the code is actually there, and I was able to override the display:none).

    The message:

After attempting the upgrade to TEC and ECP/Filter Bar 3.12.x (in several environments), we still can’t replicate the URL corruption. Could just be a fluke occurrence, but something to look out for.

Thanks, Josh. You understood us correctly.

We’re currently attempting to devise a means of replicating the issue with a full version of our site; this effort has been hampered by an issue with MySQL exports on our hosted CMS. However, we would like to point out that the permalink corruption did occur on local dev as well as production (we just didn’t catch the issue in time before pushing the update live; our bad).

I need the related events without the template, because I need to call the function outside the TEC loop, in the page template’s loop instead.

Thanks, Casey. Our previous developer coded these, and alluded to the fact that at some point there was some documentation that showed them to this method of cross-site shared widgets. Neither they nor I can find where those docs went.

The former devs actually got cross-site Calendars working really, really well in Events Calendar 2.9. Unfortunately, we were stuck in a place where we were unable to upgrade to a current version of Events Calendar Pro as a result. Our hope is that we can get this working again for 3.6+, as we’re relaunching our university website very soon and Events Calendar features quite prominently on it.

This first bit of code is what gets inserted into functions.php in our theme: https://gist.github.com/electricbrick/fcc7d0fe97d41bd62faa

The second block of code is its own file, tucked away in the theme’s /lib/ directory:
