ParticipantChanging the timezone to “Detroit” fixed the issue! Thanks so much for the suggestion. Would that be a glitch in WP or in the Calendar? Now i’m just curious. hahaha. I’ll make sure all my future events are set for the correct time zone.

ParticipantWithout addressing the archive.php page, I tried to do it the other way and the “Default Page Template” option was already selected. Unfortunately, this didn’t do anything to resolve the header image.
The theme doesn’t come with an archive.php file. It has an archive-event.php file, but that file isn’t controlling the header image.

If you look at http://echomediatest.com/hannan/events/2016-02/ you’ll see the correct dates things are supposed to start on (Tuesdays, etc) and then in March they all move to Monday.
