I have one customer who purchased 20 tickets and all 20 tickets have the same ticket number.

Hi, Just wanted to let you know I have started a new event this week and continue to have the same problem – worse than ever actually – I have multiple sets of duplicated tickets this time 🙁

I also wanted to make you aware of the ticket count. Perhaps I just don’t understand it and I’m thinking it’s hinky because of the ticket duplication but thought I’d send it to you anyway.

The tickets sold count is 243 – however 259 tickets have been issued and the units remaining reflects that correctly. The ticket number is completely out because of multiple duplications – the last ticket issued is number 249.

    Screenschots attached.

Sorry for the late reply. I actually need to get sequential ticket numbers due to the way I’m using the tickets. Yes – it would seem the problem is happening when people are buying tickets at the same time – although it has also happened where the one person has received a duplicated ticket number but usually this has been when another person has also purchased at the same time.

Given that this has been an onging issue with your software I’m really disappointed that you’re not going to investigate it further. You do have a known bug – it’s been there for a while and clearly the update you did didn’t fix it. Now I’m left with tickets duplicating – I’m running a major event with 5000 tickets – I can’t just shut down my site. It’s really not good enough. Perhaps you should go back to my previous post and the previous work you did to try and work it out and investigate further.

I think we’ve had a bit a communication break down. The attendee list is still important given that I download it to a spreadsheet and use the ticket numbers in a random draw. This is a problem because the tickets ARE issuing before they are completed. They may not be emailed to the customer but they sure are issued in the attendee list. This never happened before this upgrade.
Previously ticket numbers were only issued after the order was completed.
So as I said in my previous post, will these tickets automatically delete if the order is cancelled due to non-payment or am I going to have to go into the list and delete them manually?

As to the blank emails going out – I wouldn’t know about this except for the complaints I received from customers. They came in from people who had not purchased any tickets as well so I’m assuming they were going out to everyone but I don’t actually know.

So are you going to be fixing these things in a future release or do we have to apply these patches? I have reverted back to the previous version and won’t be upgrading until my current event is over due to the ongoing problems with the new version.
