Hi, I am also having trouble with recurring events, but it’s slightly different. When I select a recurring event (in the admin area) and select “Edit All” my recurring rules are gone. When I click the button “Add Rule,” the page seems to reload but does nothing (comes back to the same page showing the “Add rules” button as it did before. Above on that on the events page, you can see the message in yellow “Recurring event data still being generated….” but it never ends and the progress bar never changes…no matter how long it runs.
Beyond that, when I go to the event listing page again in the admin area. Any event that I looked at (based on the info above), no longer gives me the option to “Edit All” so it’s as though each recurring event that I invoke converts to a non-recurring event and my calendar in production now has less and less events because the recurring events are disappearing.
I’m running Event Calendar v4.3.0.1, Event Calendar Pro v4.3.0, and WP v4.6.1
