ParticipantAre you also in Montana? Great place to be.
Anyway… well, that’s good news! So I gave the code a try. The list that shows up on my page just includes a series of event titles and event start dates. It’s just not wanting to display the excerpt.

ParticipantI just wanted to circle back to this post now that I have reached out to the other plugin’s developers.
They said they would work to install a permanent fix in a future version of the Membership Premium plugin, but in the meantime, here is the thread to a post on their forum about how to add that fix in case anyone else has this problem:

ParticipantEeek! It IS a plugin conflict – I think. 🙁 I thought I did that typical troubleshooting, but must have not deactivated everything. Because I just tried again. I deactivated everything and my paragraph breaks magically reappeared here (http://www.runwildmissoula.net/event/saturday-breakfast-club-runwalk/2014-01-25/)! So I started activating plugins one at a time to see what was causing the problem. And it seems that when I activate the WPMU Membership Premium premium plugin, my paragraph breaks disappear. I’ve never ran into a problem caused by a plugin conflict – what do I do now?

ParticipantI just gave it a try – and yes, the same thing happens with a brand new post.

ParticipantThanks for explaining further.
So I just cleared out all that text on the event post that I was having problems with. And then I typed in (NO copy/paste) three paragraphs. I typed those graphs one word at a time.
And then when I went to view… no paragraph breaks.
So I’m still stumped. (I get that the copy/edit may not work. But this?)
Any thoughts?
Thanks so much.

ParticipantSo I’m confused – are you saying that you can’t help me any more? This is only a problem that I’m having with the event calendar posts, not any other type of WP posts or pages.

ParticipantHi!
No, that didn’t work.
Those bottom graphs are not actually an order list, my client just happened to number them manually. Also, there are additional paragraphs at the top of the page (if you compare the two links) that also are not showing up as separate paragraphs.
Any other thoughts as to what’s going on? Thanks!

ParticipantGood question. The content looks correct in the Visual tab. But not when published… which has me stumped!
As of this posting, you can view an example original page:
http://www.runwildmissoula.net/social-activities/saturday-breakfast-club-run-walk/
And the problem event post:
http://www.runwildmissoula.net/event/saturday-breakfast-club-runwalk/2014-01-18/
Does that help you with hopefully figuring out what’s going on?
Thanks,

ParticipantI’m sorry if I wasn’t more clear, but I actually did copy the HTML of the “text” tab from a page on the same WP website, into the “text” tab of the new event page. Also, I wasn’t copying and pasting a photo from the WYSIWYG editor, I was ust copying the entire page from the HTML view (I originally called it text because it was from that “text” tab).
Thanks in advance for your continued assistance.
