UPDATE : when we deactivate the “Event Tickets Plus”-plugin, the speed seems to be normal again. But deactivating this plugin is no option, because this is an essential plugin for our subscription procedure.

    Hello,

In the meanwhile we still have big performance issues with our website (especially back-end). It’s very difficult for our staff to work efficient in this circumstances. The problems are present since 6 weeks already.
Do you any idea when we can expect a solution for this problem?

    Best regards,

    Robbie

    Hi Nicolas

Thanks for you reply. Sorry to hear the update is not working.
Can you tell us in detail what you expect from us, because it is not very clear for me.

We want to get rid of this slow query as soon as possible…

    Thanks!

    Kr

    Dear Cliff

Sorry but we are still not satisfied with the solution you are proposing to us.
Are we the only clients who have this problem?

Waiting for an update is not a problem for us, but in the meantime there should be a temporary fix.
And I know the temporary fix is adapting the code of the plugins. But this is not something we are going to do. Since you have access to our back-end, I suppose you can also update the plugin?

This reply maybe seems a bit hard but we have a lot of problems working in the back-end of our system. We just want a solution as soon as possible.

    Thanks!

    Kind regards

    Hi Cliff

Sorry but is not really a solution. You tell us to modify the code of the plugins, when actually you guys developed the plugin.

So I suggest that you modify the code of the plugins. And what when the plugins have to update? Will this new code be deleted?

Please come with a solid solution. We pay a lot of money for this plugin…

    Thanks!

    Dear

Thanks for your answer. I deactivated the ‘Event Tickets Plus’ plugin and the back-end of the website became a lot faster…

Unfortunately our website can not sell tickets to our visitors without this plugin.
So, can you try to fix this problem? Hope you can help us!

    Thanks.

    Martijn

    Dear

I installed and activated the plugin you mentioned in the reply above.
Admin credentials are sent to you in a private message.

Why I think the website uses all the rows? Because if I switch from the
original to the reduced database the front-end of the website becomes really slow…

Hopefully you can solve this issue one of the following days.

    Thanks!

    Dear

    Thanks for you reply.
    On our website we have
    – 156 events
    – 25 venues
    – 2 organizers

    I don’t think that number is huge…

The optimized table contains now 229563 rows. While the original table contains 1572039 rows.

    Hopefully you can help us!

    Thanks.

    Kr,
    Martijn

    Hello Geoff,

Thanks for your answer, and sorry for my impatience ;).

Probably there could be an conflict with the plug ‘YITH WooCommerce Waiting List Premium’
They did some customization of the ‘ticket.php’ file.

Is it possible to send me to original ‘ticket.php’ file to see this make any difference?

I can’t open the image you send us, so I can’t read the content. Can you send it again?

Also strange : in Internet Explorer, on Ipad/Iphone, there are no problems…

    Best regards,

    Robbie

    Hello Geoff,

    Thanks for the reply.

Before the slugs were named ‘cursussen’ and ‘cursus’.
After your advice I’ve changed it to ‘events’ and ‘event’ (see screenshot)
In both scenarios both slugs are different.
Nevertheless, the problem stays the same…(see screenshot)
There’s no problem on IE and Ipad, but only on Chrome and Firefox.

    best regards,

    Robbie

    Hello Geoff,

    I’m afraid that I don’t understand what you mean…

When I change the slugs in the Event Calendar Settings in ‘events’ en ‘event’, the problem stays the same.

    For example : http://smarteducation.be/event/therapeutic-taping/
