Events calendar slow backend

The Events calendar plugin makes the backend of our website really slow. When we search for a solution via Google, we notice that we are not the only ones who are facing this problem.

We already discussed this topic a while ago. Several solutions were suggested but none of them worked. We are still waiting for a fix from you side. It is really annoying when you pay for a plugin that is affecting the performance of a website.

We tried to move our website to another server but even that had no effect on the speed of the backend.
The server had following specifications: 2 CPU’s (2.1 Ghz), 4GB RAM and a SSD.
The Event Manager Plugin is using TOO MUCH CPU. Even a VPS can not handle this…

Actually our patience is on. We want a permanent fix so we can use our website!!!

UPDATE : when we deactivate the “Event Tickets Plus”-plugin, the speed seems to be normal again. But deactivating this plugin is no option, because this is an essential plugin for our subscription procedure.
