This did indeed resolve my issues (both this one and the old one where past events are missing instead of grayed out). I’ve contacted the theme vendor to see if they’ll make the fix permanent.
BTW, it took me a while to respond because I never got the customary email notifying me that you had replied on 2/1. Odd.
Anyway, thank you very much for figuring this out for me. It’s a big relief.

I saw that you are short staffed, but I really need assistance with this. My customers can not navigate to future events, so I’m losing credibility if not business. Please let me know where I can send my theme or how else I can help you solve this.

Here’s some further info from the theme folks: (In answer to their question below- I have, of course, turned off all plugins and I get the same behavior)

And our demo site is by default running jQuery Version 1.8.2

Have you tried deactivating all of your plugins except the calendar and then checked to see if the previous months data displays?

When I look at a previous month in your calendar, there is no data being pulled into or populating any of the dates (in October for example) – how is that related to jQuery in the first place? Php is used to extrapolate the data, jQuery and AJAX are used to propagate the data.

No plugin affects the issue. I contacted the theme developer and described the problem. They asked me to ask you the following: is your Events Manager Pro plugin compatible with all aspects of jQuery 1.10.2 ?

I did try changing to the 2013 theme and surprise, the month view has the past events. However, my theme has not changed in the last year, and I have not had this problem ever before. I could still use your help with this, as I don’t want the near past events to disappear. Thanks.
