ParticipantHi there,
Any news on how I can translate the labels that aren’t on the POT files, such as the days in the calendar grid? In the way it was translated, the name is too big. I’ve already reduced the size of the letters and everything, but it’s still overriding the sidebar are, because now all the columns are really learge (due to the extension of the days labels).Hope there’s a simple solution for that.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Barry,
Thanks for the tip! But it still didn’t look “nice”, so I came back to the original format.I guess the best way will be either set the Dates, venue and organizer to be listed on a single column with the Other (additional fields) on a second expanded column or we’ll have to find a way to “break” the Other into more than one column, so the information distribution is more balanced.
What do you think?Thanks!

ParticipantSo “Segmento” is the venue and “Consultoria” is the organizer (I’ve modified the translation). The column labeled “Outro” (Other) is formed by the additional fields (mostly originated by check boxes). I haven’t done any customization regarding these columns yet.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Julie,
That’s the thing. I’ve translated the new POT file, but still there are a few items that weren’t listed there and therefore, I couldn’t translate them as I want. The thing is, there’s nothing wrong with the current translation. It’s my use of the calendar that is different. You see, my events calendar is actually a “deadline” calendar for job applications. So I’ve literally changed the translation to fit my needs.
There are some labels that aren’t in the POT files, so I need to know where I can change them. Such as the example for the day labels on the calendar itself.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Jonah,
Your suggestion worked but I didn’t like the way it was displayed, so I came back to the standard.Right now I’m working on developing an advanced search for the customized fields. I hope this will solve the problem for the readers.
My theme support offers “customization tweaks”, a service where you describe your need and they do it for you after negotiating the price.
Maybe you guys could offer something like that for the ECP.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Jonah,
What I meant is if it is possible for that entire section to be considered part of the post content. In a way that, for every new event that I create, all the content of the custom fields wiil be displayed within the post content area (so the search engines can “read” this content). Is there a change in the code that could do that? Or maybe something to make this content of the custom fields to also be considered by the search engines?Cintia
ParticipantHi Jonah,
I understand that you guys need the users to do that, but, to be honest, I kinda struggle with this technical stuff. When I imagine the trouble I’d go to deactivate all the plugins and to reverse to the standard theme (I don’t even know how to do that on a test environment)… I guess this issue is really not a big deal.Maybe If I wasn’t able to access the settings tabs at all I’d probably do the effort, but since I can access them from the admin bar dropdown, I guess it’s fine for me.
Thanks a lot anyways. After following the tutorials, editing the .po files and downloading the category colors plugin, I was able to create some nice customizations. Great plugin indeed!
Cheers

ParticipantSweet! It worked perfectly, Jonah!
Thanks a lot!

ParticipantHey Jonah,
I’m guessing it’s the front end. I’m talking about the display for the blog visitors.Take a look at this event:
http://www.vidadetrainee.com/evento/estagio-ccee-2013/If the second column (the one of the additional fields) could be wider, the description would be more even. The space for the labels is fine (although it could be a bit longer), so the area I need to be wider is the one for the “answers” of the additional fields.
Thanks
