Thanks Chris. It was a cache problem in Chrome and I cleared it. I really appreciate all the help!
TomParticipantThanks Chris and Andy! I applied the Events Calendar User CSS plugin and added the CSS you suggested Chris. This fixed the problem with CAPS. However the tooltip popup is still all right justified and looks bad as a result. I tried adding text-align: left to the .description rule, but that didn’t do it. Any idea on this one? I find it strange that these things became a problem due to an ECP update. My theme has never changed. What changed in ECP that caused me to have to add custom CSS rules for ECP where I never had to before? I’m not very well versed in CSS. Thanks! Tom
TomParticipantHi Chris – thanks for your reply. I just manually upgraded to 3.0.5 and checked. It’s still the same. -Tom
TomParticipantThanks Jonah! Exactly what I wanted…didn’t know that existed, or make the connection that an event is just another form of post. Wish I’d asked months ago! 🙂
TomParticipantThanks Barry, it is resolved but it’s a bit of a mystery to me. I will take your advice on the plugin update and hopefully avoid any more fatal errors. When that happens, I also lose access to my backend and have to modify php files to get rid of the offending lines. It ain’t what I’d call pretty. 😉
TomParticipantThanks for your reply Andy. I always do them together. The last two times it broke my site. I was wondering if it’s recommended to do TEC first?
TomParticipantMy apologies, they are back. I have no explanation. :-/ If you have any advice on the upgrade sequence I’d appreciate it. Thanks, Tom

I’m totally confused about what changed here. Is there some place to change the default events template? Thanks for your help Casey. I’m going to start adding back the plugins and see what happens.
January 22, 2013 at 9:34 am in reply to: URGENT: Updated Community Events plugin – Fatal Error – site is now broken #31357TomParticipantIn addition, clicking on an individual event brings up and even more messed up layout.

I had to abandon that long ago because of what Andy’s Category Colors plugin does to it (you can see what I mean by that screen shot). If you check it now, I’m back to the “default events” template that comes with EC. There has never been any sidebar with that.
January 22, 2013 at 6:34 am in reply to: URGENT: Updated Community Events plugin – Fatal Error – site is now broken #31343TomParticipantCasey, yes that worked. However now my sidebar is underneath the calendar instead of to the right of it. I’m using the “default events template”. Previous to this, that template was a full width screen with no sidebar. http://www.attunementpractitioners.org/events

Sorry I’ve been completely under water all day with my “regular job”. I have deactivated all the plugins. Then I restored the offending php files to their original condition (removed the rem’s). I reactivated just the base “The Events Calendar”. At that point no “fatal errors”, site looks fine, all my events data is still there, but the calendar (…./events) page is throwing a 404. I tried reactivating “EC Pro” and still no events page. I do see the “upcoming events” in my sidebar widget. Can’t figure out what’s up. Any thoughts? After we get that back I will reactivate plugins one at a time and test. Thanks, Tom

Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #5 is not an array in… rewrite.php on line 1593
is from the Connections plugin. The fatal errors are from yours.
January 20, 2013 at 8:45 pm in reply to: URGENT: Updated Community Events plugin – Fatal Error – site is now broken #31216TomParticipantI’ve rem’d out all the offending lines. I have access to the backend again. I have uninstalled Community Events and got basically the same error when I updated CEpro. Once again rem’d out offending lines of code. Backend is available. Front end will only show the home page – posts. Clicking on any other page in the menu gets no new page – stays on the main page.
January 20, 2013 at 8:06 pm in reply to: URGENT: Updated Community Events plugin – Fatal Error – site is now broken #31215TomParticipantI have tried remarking out the offending lines and the next error is:
Fatal error: Unsupported operand types in /home/placeofstillness/attunementpractitioners.org/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/vendor/wp-router/WP_Router.class.php on line 170 -
