October 1, 2018 at 2:06 pm in reply to: Text in Calendar View with Calendar Customizer extension #1634847ncbaroqueorchestraParticipantTried this from the GitHub CSS:
/** Style the “Find Events” button to give it rounded corners and a new color scheme */
#tribe-bar-form .tribe-bar-submit input[type=”submit”] {
border-radius: 8px;
background: darkblue !important;
}
I just added “!important;” to the CSS provided and it worked!October 1, 2018 at 12:27 pm in reply to: Text in Calendar View with Calendar Customizer extension #1634630ncbaroqueorchestraParticipantOops, sorry! I forgot to “publish” it. The text on Calendar month view did turn red. I am working on my staging/dev site and then transferring it to the main site if and when it works! It works on the staging site. Text is dark blue, and the link still works! Great! Now, the only thing not working is the “Find Events” button.
October 1, 2018 at 11:55 am in reply to: Text in Calendar View with Calendar Customizer extension #1634598ncbaroqueorchestraParticipantHi Andras, Thank you so much for your response.
I tried putting your CSS in Appearance>Customize>Custom CSS>Global Custom CSS:
.events-gridview .tribe-events-page-title {
font-weight: 700;
}It worked perfectly. Thank you.
I put this in the same place:
.events-gridview h3.tribe-events-month-event-title a {
color: red !important;
}
It did nothing.
Tried this from the GitHub CSS:
/** Style the “Find Events” button to give it rounded corners and a new color scheme */
#tribe-bar-form .tribe-bar-submit input[type=”submit”] {
background: darkblue;
border: 2px darkblue;
border-radius: 8px;
color: darkblue;
}
Result: Button with nice rounded corners, gray background with navy blue text. What I want is a navy blue (#0c2ba0) button with white (#ffffff) text! (see screenshot #545 for some of my other buttons). See screenshot #546 for results of added CSS: (1) “Concerts for October 2018” is now bold. Good. (2) “Find Events” button is dark blue on gray, instead of white on dark blue, which is what I want. (3) Text of next event (October 12) is green (my link color) instead of red (although I would prefer navy blue like the rest of my site. Dark blue, on a white background is easier to read by people with poor vision).
btw I do not know how to add arrows to a screenshot…lol!September 24, 2018 at 8:59 am in reply to: I would like to add Time and Venue to Event Title in Calendar View #1629209ncbaroqueorchestraParticipantThis reply is private.
ncbaroqueorchestraParticipantThanks, Courtney.
I now have all instances of “Events” changed to “Concerts”, including on the Dashboard, which confused me at first…lol!ncbaroqueorchestraParticipantI found the extension: Change the Labels for “Events”, “Organizers”, or “Venues”. Tried it out on the staging site. Liked it, so now have it on the main site. Thank you!
September 21, 2018 at 2:32 pm in reply to: I would like to add Time and Venue to Event Title in Calendar View #1627989ncbaroqueorchestraParticipantI took another look at Patricia’s screenshot. This is her text:
Testing – September 30 @ 8:00 am
One more test – September 30 @ 8:00 am
Another test – October 31 @ 8:00 amTest, Avenida Miruna, 200
São Paulo, SP BrazilThis is what I think (& hope!) she means:
{Event-name} – September 30 @ 8:00 am
{Event-name} – September 30 @ 8:00 am
{Event-name} – October 31 @ 8:00 am{Venue}, Avenida Miruna, 200
São Paulo, SP BrazilncbaroqueorchestraParticipantYes, it worked. But I thought maybe the message was trying to tell me something wasn’t set right. I wasn’t looking to get rid of the message…just find the cause! Would love to substitute the word “concerts” for “events” everywhere: “Events for September, 2018” (Calendar View), “Upcoming Events” (Map View), etc.

I really appreciate all your help with this. I look forward to hearing from you or Patricia again soon. I think the extension is worth waiting for. It will be sooooo good on our site. Especially in December, when we have so many concerts!
