Cool, thanks Rob, hadn’t seen that setting there.

    Thanks, I was!

However, changing the value in this line:

    zoom:

doesn’t seem to make any difference, am I doing something wrong?

It still makes sense to be able to change this on a per venue basis.

    Ignore me!

Just added a new sidebar called only from the page template assigned to the events calendar in the back end. Was just a bit confused as the template name wasn’t showing up in my debug info.

I need to change the zoom level of the maps but the file admin-views/event-map.phpis not present in the plugin folder. How can I acheive this?

I’d *really* like to see a shortcode for the calendar, it’s too inflexible the way it currently is.

Aha, got it, thank you, it’s a pleasure to have a plugin provider who is on the case.

Thanks for your prompt reply, I tried adding that css to the existing stylesheet, a copy of the events calendar stylesheet, and to the original events calendar stylesheet, all to no avail.

Couldn’t see how this would work anyway as there is no .events-archive or .single-tribe_events class being applied to the navigation menu list item for “events”

I’m not using custom menus as they are a pain in the arse when it comes to clients adding their pages.

Any other ideas? Can I hack your plugin to append the appropriate class to the menu item?

    Cheers,

    Hi Jonah,

Thanks for the code that’s brilliant, works a treat. Also for the link to the advanced-custom-fields plugin, looks great but maybe a bit much for what we need.

    Cheers!

    Hi Jonah,

I’m not using any custom code to achieve the additional custom fields, just the built in ‘Add new custom fields’ meta info to apply a field name and its value.

In the page/post templates I’m using get_post_meta() to test if a post/page has a particular meta value and then to treat it accordingly.

    Clear as mud? Good.

I’d really like to be able to integrate the Event Categories with my regular Post Categories so that when I list all the posts in a particular category it would include any relevant calendar entries. Or is this already possible and I’m missing something.
