    Hi Cliff:

No need to troubleshoot until event aggregator supports syncing deleting events at the source. At that time we would start using the plugin again.

In the meantime – that would be great if you could swap the remaining time for an image widget plus license.

    Thanks…

    Hi Cliff:

Thanks for getting back to me.

For the events deleted at the source not being deleted in event aggregator – I did vote for that change – but as I said in the initial report I have to go back to the other plugin until you can update event aggregator to support this functionality because we cannot be maintaining 2 different calendars (the source and the website) as this could potentially cause the calendars to be out of sync – something the other plugin handles for us.

For the events we change the date on I did verify that the UID is the same on both the original export and the export with the date change for the event. However, the event is still on the website calendar twice – the original date and the changed date.

    Thanks…

    Hi Andras:

Any update on when this fix will be implemented? We would love to start using your plugin on our website as soon as possible – but obviously can’t until the event times are displayed in the correct timezone.

    Let me know.

    Thanks!

    Hi Andras:

Thanks for getting back to me. It is my understanding that by the feed specifying a “Z” at the end of the DATE-TIME – i.e.:

    DTEND;VALUE=DATE-TIME:20170605T172500Z
    DTSTART;VALUE=DATE-TIME:20170605T171000Z

The “Z” indicates the time is in UTC format. You’ll notice if for example you add this to your Google calendar by going to “Other calendars” –> “Add by URL” – Google will display the event in the timezone of your calendar. I thought by importing this feed into your plug-in with the “Events” –> “Settings” –> “Timezone Settings” –> “Timezone Mode” set to “use the sitewide timezone everywhere” the plug-in would display the events in the timezone of the WordPress site. Is this something you will support?

    Let me know.

    Thanks!

I got around the schedule issue by using an import type of Google Calendar or iCalendar – my timezone problem continues though.

My server and PHP timezone is set to Los Angeles, my WordPress timezone is set to Los Angeles, my timezone setting in the plugin is set to “use the sitewide timezone everywhere”, and my ics feed (https://api.veracross.com/cate/v2/events.ics?event_types=114,115,116,24,112) doesn’t set any timezone. Yet the events are still showing up with times adjusted to GMT+0. I don’t have control over the ics feed – so how do I get the plug-in to import the events with the time specified on the events in the ics feed which are correct for Los Angeles?

    Let me know.

    Thanks…

    Mike
