* on further investigation it seems that it’s something to do with the mystyle theme. when I changed to twentythirteen the custom css worked. I’ll look into this myself, thanks!

I think I solved the problem… I found the lib folder inside the lang folder I must have dragged it there by accident.
Would that be right? There should not be a folder called lib inside the lang folder?

I’m going to try customizing the checkout fields by following a tutorial from the woocommerce documentation.
