ParticipantGeoff: we just updated to 4.0.2, thinking it was the update to fix the issue discussed in this thread. If it was an update to fix the “did not select an item for editing” issue, it’s not working afaict. Was the update to fix this, or something else?

ParticipantOK, thanks much, George. Regarding the folders, there is only one folder named “the-events-calendar” in the plugin folders and nowhere else that I can see (e.g., in theme folder).
However, we DO have two plugins listed on the WP Plugins page: The Events Calendar (3.12.3), and The Events Calendar Pro (3.12.4). Is this supposed to be the case (mismatched versions aside)?
And, regarding mismatched versions, I notice 3.12.5 is available for the free plugin and 3.12.6 for the Pro version. Even those don’t match in number, is that what we should be running?

ParticipantThanks, George. We have managed to restore our custom calendar sidebar. Question: In the process of troubleshooting a conflict with Visual Composer and other plugins, all were deactivated at one point or another, including TEC and TEC Pro.
Would this have caused the individual TEC widgets to be deactivated? I ask because we have a calendar list in the sidebars of various pages, and after another staffer deactivated all our plugins, those sidebar widgets disappeared, but thankfully they all appeared on the widgets page, under “Inactivate Widgets”. However, there is another possibility, which is that this was caused by deleting and then restoring the TEC/TEC Pro plugin folders.
Also, I’m a bit confused about the plugin folders: I actually only see one whereas my admin plugins page shows one for the free version and another for the Pro. Is that how it should be (two plugins contained in one folder)?
Thanks much for your help!
