ParticipantI have tried what you describe and it is true that if you use the venues filter pressing the reset link will indeed remove the check on the check box but it still only shows the events as if they were still filtered.
However if you select using the “event category” filter and then press the reset nothing happens. The selected event category remains and the page still only shows the events as if they were still filtered.
I have experimented and discovered that there appears to be a problem associated with the “Test Event” I have setup. No matter which filters you select when the rest is pressed it is the Test Event which doesn’t show.
I have tried this in Internet Explorer 11, Firefox 36.0.1 and Safari so I don’t think it is a browser problem.

ParticipantIn the plugin screen i get
Google Geoloc Troubleshooting
Testing with the default reference address
Results not provided by Google – status code: OVER_QUERY_LIMITIn the venue screen I get
Google Geoloc Troubleshooting
Testing with the current venue’s address: “THE ADDRESS”
Results not provided by Google – status code: OVER_QUERY_LIMITMatt
ParticipantBarry, I have been experimenting and tried a couple of other addresses and get the same result.
Also if I try searching for places such as Dubai, Nairobi, Riyadh, Muscat they do not appear to be even recognised by the search field. Whereas if I type Boston or Dublin and click find events several options are presented demonstrating that it recognises the location. Is this just because Dubai, Nairobi, Riyadh & Muscat do not have duplicate locations or is this also part of the same problem I am experiencing.

ParticipantI have removed the campus part of the address but still get the same result

ParticipantThe Filter Bar issue of Category and Tags not appearing is resolved. I didn’t realise it was clever enough to identify that there were no categories or tags being used by events and therefore to remove the filter option. I have added a category and tag to an event and the filter option now appears. The distance option still doesn’t appear but I guess that is probably related to the google geolocation problem.
I have tried the google geoloc troubleshooting plugin and I get the following message “Results were supplied but did not include geometry data.”

ParticipantAlso Barry, did you take a look at the Filter Bar issue. I assume this is not related to the Google issue.

ParticipantI have tried what you suggested but the add4ress is still not found and doesn’t appear in the map view either.

ParticipantThanks,
I will send the Dublin address and the site url privately.
The address is showing up on the google map on the same page so it would be odd for the search to not pick it up. When I type in Dublin in the location search it offers alternatives. One of which is “Dublin, Ireland”. As you can see this is exactly the same as part of the address.
With regards to ” It is also possible that they are refusing to supply geolocation data – and this can happen if you have exceeded the free quote, or, you are using a shared hosting package and other websites/apps running on the same machine have collectively done so.” I don’t know what you are referring to. Are you suggesting that to use these features I need some kind of account with google ? If so that was not made clear when I bought the plug-in.

ParticipantBrian, Thank you but I have deleted and reloaded the plugin and it is now working.
