ParticipantTruly not trying to be difficult.
What I am is stuck in the middle, trying to explain to non-technical people, in non-technical terms, what you’re telling me in technical terms, why a simple grid is not laying out in what they (the non-techs) perceive to be a logical fashion.
Thought it might be easier edit everything than trying to explain to them (again) why there isn’t a switch to flip to make it “normal”.
Thank you for your time.

ParticipantWould making the images & excerpts uniform in size make the grid layout in a more human-friendly (logical) display when it comes to reading? i.e. cellsByRow in the jQuery isotopes examples.

ParticipantWait. No, that’s not right either. I’m completely confused.
They’re not in order for what you’re describing, either… :-/
I’m usually good at spotting patterns. I’m just not seeing one here.

ParticipantSo, let me see if I understand this right…
The viewing /sort order goes like so:
1 | 4 | 7
2 | 5 | 8
3 | 6 | 9Which means viewing requires up & down scrolling, rather than the standard reading left to right that would be used with this structure:
1 | 2 | 3
4 | 5 | 6
7 | 8 | 9Patti

ParticipantI updated them all this morning, before posting. But in case they are not the correct versions:
· TEC vs 4.2.2.
· TECP vs 4.2.2(from previous post)
· No other plugins in use
· using Twenty Sixteen Theme
· WP vs 4.5.3FWIW – I’ve checked other sites I’m using this on, and it’s doing the same thing there.

ParticipantI try to come in prepared for these things. 😉 Thanks for noticing and thanks for the suggestions.
Don’t necessarily want to mark this as “resolved”, because technically it isn’t. But you should feel free to close the thread.

ParticipantI just noticed some odd styling on the Photo list items, too. A large gap on the right side of the text. This is happening in all the themes I’ve tried, not just the one in the attached screenshot.

ParticipantMake sure the box is checked in Settings > General to allow Google Maps, and also that you have checked the box to allow it on the Settings > Display page.

ParticipantBrian – I hope you don’t mind if I follow up.
I don’t recall ever installing the plugin you mentioned above. I doesn’t show up on my plugin list. I assumed it was a part of ECP because it was always there (in the widgets list) after I set it (TEC/ECP) up. In fact, I just did a new, completely fresh, setup a few days ago, no updates done yet, it’s there, & working too.
So the obvious question(s) to my follow up is if the widget is not a bundled part of TEC or ECP, then how in the world did it get in there? And if it is a bundled part of it, why wasn’t it updated this last go round?

ParticipantWorked.

ParticipantQuick question before I do that — the site I included on the form for this post is *very* active right now. Would turning the license key on/off have any effect on the operation of the calendar on the website? Or is that just about validating the keys? Also, that’s the only site of the three that this is happening on.
