ECP License Key not allowing valid updates

I get this when I go to my plugins page or WP Updates page.
There is an update available for The Events Calendar PRO but your license key is out of installs. Visit the Modern Tribe website to manage your installs, upgrade your license, or purchase a new one.

That would be understandable if my installs were in fact no good. I have a business license. I’m using all three of the available installs and those three are listed on my License Key list.

Why do I have to upgrade to in order to get the update? Especially if I just renewed in December for a year.

(BTW – I tried to submit this question via your contact form, but the form is giving grief and not wanting to continue through.)

Hello,

Sorry for the issues you are having.

Can you please try removing your license keys from your account on TheEventsCalendar.com and then reactivating them on your site to see if that resolves the issue.

To do that, login to your account and go to My Account > License Keys

Click “Disconnect now” next to all the urls and go to your site and add those license keys back.

Quick question before I do that — the site I included on the form for this post is *very* active right now. Would turning the license key on/off have any effect on the operation of the calendar on the website? Or is that just about validating the keys? Also, that’s the only site of the three that this is happening on.

The license keys are only for automatic updates. So removing them will not cause the premium features to stop working.
